For players
Applying takes two minutes, not an evening
Your characters live on your profile, your logs come along on their own, and each guild only asks you the questions they care about. Apply to five guilds in the time it used to take to write one post.
- 01
Sign in with Discord
That's the whole account. Guilds see the same username they'd see in their own server, so nobody has to ask who you are.
- 02
Bring your characters
Connect Battle.net and pick which characters to import: name, class, level and realm, across every flavor you play. Or add one by hand.
- 03
Find a guild
Filter the browser by flavor, region and faction, or open the link a guild posted. Every page says what they're recruiting.
- 04
Apply in a couple of minutes
Pick the character you're applying with, answer that guild's questions, attach a screenshot if they ask for one, and send.
- 05
Follow it from your dashboard
Pending, in review, accepted or declined: you see the same status the officers set, and you can withdraw at any point.
Import once, use everywhere
Connecting Battle.net pulls your characters across retail and classic namespaces, and you choose which ones to keep. Anything the API won't hand over, you type in yourself; a manual character works exactly like an imported one.
Blizzard's tokens last a day and can't be refreshed, so Guildfindr imports at connect time rather than pretending to be live. Level up, come back and re-sync. It takes one click.

Their questions, your characters
Each guild writes its own form, so you answer what that guild actually cares about instead of a generic template. The characters you pick (one main, alts if they matter) ride along with the answers.
Guildfindr shows the characters that match the guild's flavor first, so a Hardcore guild doesn't get your retail mage by accident.

Questions
Why are you leaving your current guild?
Roster fell apart after the first tier. Looking for a team that raids two nights and actually clears.
No more than you sent them
They see
- Your Discord username and avatar
- The characters you attached to that application
- Your answers to their questions
- Public WarcraftLogs and Raider.IO data for those characters
They don't
- Your email address
- Characters you didn't attach
- Which other guilds you applied to
- Anything from your Battle.net account beyond the character list
The things players ask first
- Do I need Battle.net?
- No. It saves typing, but you can add characters by hand and apply exactly the same way.
- Can I apply to more than one guild?
- Yes, as many as you like. One active application per guild at a time; once it's declined or withdrawn, you can apply there again.
- Can I take an application back?
- Withdraw it from your dashboard. The guild sees that it was withdrawn and stops reviewing.
- Does it work for Classic?
- All six flavors: Retail, MoP Classic, Classic Era, Hardcore, Season of Discovery and Anniversary. Your logs are read from the right partition for each.
- What if my parses are bad?
- They're shown as they are, next to your answers. Plenty of guilds recruit on attitude and attendance, and the browser is full of guilds that aren't screening for pink parses.
- Can I delete everything?
- Yes. Deleting your account from the dashboard removes your characters, applications and uploaded screenshots with it. The privacy page has the details.
